“Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had the power to do what he had promised.”

– Romans 4:20-21 NIV

Sincere faith remains at the threshold of possibility, even when the door of new opportunity remains closed with a great delay in opening. “Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.” – Hebrews 11:1 NIV Faith is being sure and certain, confident, that what you believe will come to pass. Despite what you see currently that would seek to dissuade, or discourage you from embracing hope for the future, faith says, ‘Yes you can!’ Faith requires us to look beyond ourselves, our circumstances and focus solely on God, and His all surpassing power, as the source of our salvation, deliverance and fulfillment. Hope becomes the fuel that builds the momentum of our faith and strengthens us to continue to endure, persevere and keep in step with God’s Spirit as He leads us in our faith walk towards the destiny He has planned for us to step into.

“He who did not spare his own Son,  but gave him up for us all- how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things.” – Romans 8:32 NIV Romans 8:32 is a promise from God that He will follow through to complete the good work of making all things new that the Apostle Paul declares to us in Philippians 1:6. There are 2 significant truths revealed in Romans 8:32 that should provide both comfort, encouragement and inspire hope in us to strengthen us in our faith walk with God. 1) God did not spare His Son from suffering, so my suffering (misfortune, injustice, grief) is not about God punishing me. Jesus suffered, but God raised Him up from death to life. Christ now lives in me and God will raise me up with Christ as the Bible teaches! 2) Success and victory are inevitable realities for the sincere believer! Along with Christ, God will graciously give us everything that will allow us to experience the fullness of life Christ came for us to have. Our confidence in Him will determine the outcome of what we encounter as we walk with Him by faith.

“His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.” 2 Peter 1:3 NIV God did not call us to Christ to leave us barren and defeated. Through our knowledge of Him, we grow in the strength of His Spirit, by His grace and truth, to live the victorious spiritual life He destined for us to step into as He led Abraham. In essence, the more Abraham believed God, the stronger he grew in his faith walk, enduring patiently the process of his faith walk with God until God performed the miraculous blessing He promised Abraham. God provides us the gift of His Son, Jesus Christ, so He can walk with us towards the destiny He arouses hope within us to step into in order to experience the fullness of life Christ came for us to have!

May God bless you and help you to endure patiently the process of your faith walk becoming stronger in your faith as you grow in your knowledge of Him so you can step into the destiny of the fullness of life Christ came for us to have.
