“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.”

– Isaiah 43:18-19 NIV

Faith in Christ initiates change. That change is a transitional process from old to new, from what was to what will be and from what wasn’t to what can be. Faith in Christ inspires hope in the impossible being possible and encountering the unseen realm of God’s kingdom manifest in us and through us to experience, in this world, what He promises in His word. The value of investing quality, quiet time reading and reflecting on His written word is to grow in the knowledge, understanding and revelation of who God is, who I am in Christ and what God wants to announce to me so I can become a witness to experience the new things He desires to do.

“The LORD confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them.” – Psalm 25:14 NIV As we transition in the process of our faith walk with Christ, it is God’s desire to share intimate knowledge of His will concerning our lives, according to His word, so we can be strengthened in our faith walk, growing in assurance and confidence to trust God as we walk by faith. How encouraging, comforting and motivating it is to grow in a relationship with the Almighty, transitioning from a Creator-creature relationship, to one that reflects an intimate friendship relationship. “The LORD would speak to Moses face to face, as a man speaks with his friend.” – Exodus 33:11 NIV It is God’s desire to engage in an intimate interactive relationship with each of us, through faith in Christ, revealing, illuminating and confiding in us intimate knowledge of Himself and His plans for us according to what He already reveals in His written word. “I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.” – John 15:15 NIV

Faith in Christ initiates an intimate personal relationship with the Creator of the heavens and the earth! As we sojourn in our faith walk, God desires to transform the nature of our relationship with Hm into something deeper, richer and stronger. No matter our status in life, no matter our circumstances, God is seeking to begin something new as we walk by faith through every age and stage of development. Whether it involves bringing you out of a dark and difficult season, revealing His plan to do something in and through you to start a new business, or influence a new way of thinking that will result in a new way of living, even in dark and difficult times, God wants to do something new in and through you!

May God bless you and help you to grow in the grace and truth of Christ, as you walk by faith, so you may grow more intimately with God in your relationship with Him so you may experience the fullness of life Christ came for us to have.
